Well, in general I'm usually polite and courteous. I avoid trouble wherever I go. I try to not start trouble out there. I MYOB and stay in my own lane. But if you are in my business and bring trouble to my doorstep then you'll see a whole different side to me. A fighter. I don't kill though. And I've never held a weapon. No matter how often my Dads used to beat my ass and curse me, I never hit back. I never cursed him back. I just learned how to box - especially dodging and weaving and blocking. And I learned how to remain silent and avoid his anger. That's prolly why I'm usually so quiet or just laughing to myself. And I've never carried a weapon or held a pistol. Never thought I needed it.
Oh well, no... i was never really assaulted. they were boyfriends or potential boyfriends. no, i was never harassed in that way either. that's why it's a thorny subject to discuss because of the ME2 movement and such. Sometimes it goes a little too far on both sides.
A lot of the issues with the ME2 movement could be assuaged through a robust discussion and better inter-personal skills for both sides.
In life and in this world, you're gonna meet difficult individuals and difficult situations. How you choose to respond and handle these challenges will determine your fate so to speak... how the interaction transpires. Sometimes comedic timing and a gorgeous smile and a witty repartee is all that's needed to avoid an indelicate situation.
You have it in you to determine how things transpire. No. it's not pre-determined destiny. It's self-determination. I hope you all consider this and develop better interpersonal skills.
